Van Horne captured his second medalist title of the season and the sixth of his career in winning the TSU Big Blue Intercollegiate at the Hermitage Golf Club in Old Hickory, Tennessee. The senior had rounds of 67-71 to finish at 138 (-6) and top the field (which included six full OVC teams) by four shots. His performance helped the Belmont team to the team championship, its third of the season. Van Horne currently ranks first in the OVC in stroke average (70.5), a mark that is tied for 14th nationally. This marks the fifth time he has been named OVC Golfer of the Week this season (after earning the award four times a year ago).

Folke claimed medalist honors at the Jan Weaver Invitational held at the Miller Memorial Golf Course last week. The sophomore carded rounds of 75-76-72 to finish at 223 (+7) and pace a field of 74 competitors that included six total OVC teams. It marked the first career medalist honor for Folke who ranks third in the OVC in stroke average (75.5). She helped MSU to a second place team finish in a field of 13 teams. Overall this marks the second-straight week and third overall time this season Folke has been named OVC Golfer of the Week.
