• 2015-16 and 2016-17 NCAA Men's Basketball Rules Changes (PDF) | CBSSports.com Article on Rules Changes
Every two years the NCAA has a chance to adopt big scale changes to the rule book (i.e. the change to a 30-second shot clock prior to last season). The 2016-17 season, however, is a non-rules change year and includes points of emphasis and alterations to the current rules.
During the season the NCAA releases education videos to help clarify and also provide examples of rules points of emphasis. Some of the examples including physicality in the post, the vertical cylinder rules and the walled up and grounded rule when in the restricted area arc.
Below is a listing of those videos (with the newest video at the top); also included is a videos interview with Curtis Shaw, OVC Coordinator of Men's Basketball Officials, who discussed some of those changes and the state of officiating in the Conference at the OVC Basketball Media Day.
