Riley McInerney, Sr., Charleston, Ill. – Eastern Illinois
McInerney won the 3,000 meters at the Illini Classic last week with a time of 8:15.75. The time is the best in the OVC and ranks 11
th in the nation. He also moved into eighth all-time at Eastern Illinois in the event.
Quamel Prince, Sr., Nashville, Tenn. – Tennessee State
Prince took first in the 800 meters at the Kentucky Invitational last week. His time of 1:50.54 tops the OVC this year and ranks ninth in the nation. He also rank a leg of the 4x400-meter relay that finished fourth with a time of 3:19.85

FEMALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Amber Hughes, Sr., Atlanta, Ga. – Tennessee State
Hughes recorded an OVC best time of 8.43 in the 60-meter hurdle prelims at the Kentucky Invitational. That time is also 33
rd in the nation. She placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdle finals with of time of 8.48. Hughes also placed eight in the 200 meters with a time of 24.59 which is third in the league this season.

MALE FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Julian Harvey, Sr., Edwardsville, Ill. – SIUE
Harvey took first in the long jump at the Badger Icebreaker. His mark of 24’09.25 is the best in the OVC by nearly a foot and also ranks 13
th in the nation this year.

FEMALE FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Cyra Beard, Jr., Jackson, Tenn. – Tennessee State
Beard placed second in the high jump with a career-best leap of 5’09.25”at the Kentucky Invitational. The mark ranks second in the OVC this year and is 21
st best in the nation. She also placed 8
th in the triple jump with a mark of 38’02.25”.
