BRENTWOOD, Tenn. – The Ohio Valley Conference announced today a multi-year agreement with VisitMyrtleBeach.com to be presenting partner of the annual OVC Basketball Championship Tournament. This arrangement will see the tournament named the “2017 OVC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championship Presented by VisitMyrtleBeach.com” on a multi-year basis.
This year’s event is scheduled for March 1-4 at Municipal Auditorium in Nashville and will feature eight men’s and eight women’s teams competing for a spot in the NCAA Basketball Tournament. The 2017 event marks the seventh-straight year the event has been held at Municipal Auditorium and the 23rd time in the past 24 years the event has been held in Nashville.

The partnership will provide VisitMyrtleBeach.com with exposure and visibility throughout the OVC Basketball Tournament and across OVC broadcast partners. The partnership was brokered by IMG, the OVC’s multi-media rights partner.
During this year’s OVC Basketball Championship fans can visit an on-site VisitMyrtleBeach.com Mobile Visitor’s Center, get a photo taken at a branded Photo Booth and win prize giveaways throughout the event..
