Tennessee Tech’s Eduardo Mena and Austin Peay’s Lidia Yanes Garcia topped the Ohio Valley Conference Preseason Top Ten Tennis Players list as voted on by the league’s head coaches.
Last season, Eduardo Mena set Tennessee Tech’s single-season wins record by tallying up 33 wins and was selected as the Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year.
Lidia Yanes Garcia’s was selected as the OVC Player of the Year and the OVC Freshman of the Year last season. The Austin Peay player is expected to be a top competitor again as she looks to continue her great form on the tennis court.
