CONWAY, Ark. - UT Martin defeated Lousiana Tech in five sets (21-25, 25-21, 26-24, 21-25, 15-9) on Thursday evening for its first match of the UCA Invitational. The Skyhawks improved to 2-2 on the season.
UT Martin had three players record double-doubles in the victory. Macy Reigelsperger had a team-high 17 kills and 16 digs while Kenzie Hinshaw led all players with 48 assists to go with 12 digs. Megan Fair tallied 14 kills and 13 digs.
Justine Walker reached double-digts in kills with 10 while Brooke Gyori led the Skyhawks with 29 digs.
The Skyhawks will continue play in the UCA Invitational tomorrow as it faces Memphis and Little Rock.
