MALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Matt O’Connor, Sr., Elgin, Ill. – SIUE
O’Connor took second in the 800 meters at the Chipotle Marshall Invitational last week. His time of 1:51.86 is a personal record and is the best in the OVC this year. He also ran a leg of the Distance Medley Relay that won the event with an OVC-best time of 10:10.13.

Co-FEMALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Tamdra Lawrence, Jr., Macon, Ga. – Murray State
Lawrence earned a pair of second-place finishes at the Pitt State Gorilla Invitational. She took second in the 60 meters with a time of 7.42 which is first in the OVC this season. The mark also tied a school record. She also took second in the 200 meters with a time of 24.20 which is second in the league this year.
D’Airrien Jackson, Jr., Santa Clara, Calif. – Tennessee Tech
Jackson took sixth in the 400-meter dash at the Tyson Invitational last week. Her time of 52.84 is the best in the OVC this year and ranks 12
th in the country. She also ran the 200 meters with a time of 24.28 which is third in the league this season.

Martinus Mitchell, Sr., Collinsville, Ill. – SIUE
Mitchell won the shot put at the Chipotle Marshall Invitational last week. His throw of 55-09.25 is second in the OVC this year and ranks second all-time at SIUE.

Liz Marcinek, Sr. Harrodsburg, Kentucky – Eastern Kentucky
Marcinek won the long jump at the Chiptole Marshall Invitational. Her leap of 18-11.75. Her mark is a personal best and set a track record. It also ranks third in the OVC this year and third all-time at Eastern Kentucky.
Angel Horton, Fr., Tuscaloosa, Ala. – Tennessee State
Horton took second in the triple jump at the Hoosier Hills. Her mark of 40-06.00 is the best in the league this year and ranks 69
th in the nation. She also placed ninth in the long jump with a leap of 18-08.50.
