Street & Smith has ranked Jacksonville State and Austin Peay in its Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Preseason Top 25 for 2018 while also tabbing Jacksonville State junior defensive back

Jaison Williams as preseason All-Americans in its annual yearbook which was published recently.
The publication predicted four-time defending OVC champion Jacksonville State No. 5 nationally while picking Austin Peay No. 22.
Bridges and Williams were among the 25 players on the Preseason All-American Team. Both earned multiple All-American honors at the end of the 2017 season.
The yearbook also picked Bridges as the OVC's Top NFL Prospect.
In a breakdown of the OVC, Street & Smith picked Jacksonville State as the champions followed by Austin Peay, Tennessee State, Eastern Illinois, UT Martin, Eastern Kentucky, Southeast Missouri, Murray State and Tennessee Tech.
The OVC will announce its official predicted order of finish preseason poll and preseason All-OVC teams on Monday, July 23 as part of its annual Media Day festivities.
