COOKEVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee Tech improved to 5-0 in OVC play as the Golden Eagles defeating visiting Tennessee State, 76-65. Tech has won its last eight games. Tennessee State fell to 1-16 overall and 1-4 in league play.
Anacia Wilkinson nearly notched a triple-double for Tennessee Tech with 12 point, 10 rebounds and nine blocks. The nine blocks tied a school program records. Jordan Brock and Abby Buckner each recorded 11 points in the win. Akia Harris had nine points and nine assists.
Tennessee State had four players reach double-digits in points with Asia Sims leading the way with 15 points. Terrysha Banner had 12 points while Tia Wooten and Jaden Wrightsell each had 11.
