NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Tennessee State fell to visiting North Alabama on Monday night. With the loss, TSU dropped to 1-2 on the season.
Taylor Roberts led the team with 17 points, going 9-for-9 froe the line. Jazmine Young also reached double-digits in scoring with 16 points, inlcuding hitting eight of her nine free throws.
The Lady Tigers return to action on Thursday when it hosts Alcorn State.
AUSTIN PEAY 100, MISSISSIPPI VALLEY STATE 63
ITTA BENA, Miss. - Austin Peay defeated Mississippi Valley State , 100-82, on Monday night. The Governors improved to 3-1 on the season.
Arielle Gonzalez-Varner led Austin Peay with 21 points and 13 rebounds. Maggie Knowles knocked down four three-pointers to finish with 16 points. Kasey Kidwell had a pair of three-pointers and went 5-for-6 from the line to record 15 points
Austin Peay will host Evansville on Thursday.
