ROCHESTER, Mich. - Eastern Kentucky fell at Oakland, 2-1, in overtime on Thursday night. With the loss the Colonels fall to 0-3 on the season.
Audrey Anderson scored the first goal of the game just under six minutes into the match to give EKU the lead.
Oakland would even the score just at the 17:17 mark of the game. The score would remain tied at 1-1 through regulation. The Grizziles scored the game-winner just four minutes into overtime.
Eastern Kentucky is back in action on Sunday when it host Milwaukee.
OLE MISS 2, SOUTHEAST MISSOURI 0
OXFORD, Miss. - Southeast Missouri fell at Ole Miss, 2-0, in its first match of the Rebel Classic on Thursday night. The Redhawks fall to 1-1 on the season.
Ole Miss scored just under eight minutes into the match and added an insurance goal with under nine minutes left in regulation.
Emily Holten registered the Redhawks' two shots and one shot on goal in the match. Goalkeeper Bailey Redden gave up just two goals and made 11 stops.
Southeast Missouri continues play in the Rebel Classic on Sunday when it faces Arkansas.
UT MARTIN 1, EVANSVILLE 1
MARTIN. Tenn. - UT Martin remained unbeaten on the season as it played to a 1-1 draw at Evansville on Thursday night.
Evansville got on the board first just before the half. UT Martin's Baylee Arnott netted her first goal of the season to tie the game at 1-1. Elllin Berggren provided the assist on the score for the Skyhawks.
Neither team could find the back of the net through two overtimes.
UT Martin will travel to Western Carolina on Sunday.
