Eastern Illinois Men and Austin Peay Women win the 2020 OVC Indoor Track & Field Championship

The Eastern Illinois men and the Austin Peay women win the 2020 Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship. 

The Panther men scored 154 points while Southeast Missouri finished in second with 150.5 points. Eastern Kentucky placed third with 108.50 points followed by Tennessee State (86), Belmont (81), SIUE (58) and UT Martin (23). 

On the women's side, the Governors earned 111.5 points while Murray State finished in a close second with 110.5 points. Southeast Missouri finished third with 89 points while Belmont had 81.50 points for a fourth place finish. Eastern Illinois rounded out the top five with 78.50 points followed by Tennessee Sate (69), Eastern Kentucky (59), Tennessee Tech (41), SIUE (11) and Jacksonville State (11).

Two records were broken on Thursday. Tennessee State's R'Lazon Brumfield set a new triple jump mark with a leap of 52-05.25 while Tennessee Tech's Lisa Wickham won the 60 meters with a record time of 7.27.
