Street & Smith has ranked Austin Peay and Jacksonville State in its Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) Preseason Top 25 for 2020 while also tabbing Austin Peay senior wide receiver
DeAngelo Wilson and senior nickelback
Kordell Jackson as preseason All-Americans in its annual yearbook which was published recently.
The publication predicted defending OVC Champion Austin Peay at No. 10 in its preseason rankings and Jacksonville State at No. 12. Defending national champion North Dakota State was picked first.
Wilson and Jackson were among the 25 players on the Preseason All-American Team. Each earned multiple All-American honors at the end of the 2019 season.
The yearbook also picked Jacksonville State senior quarterback
Zerrick Cooper as the OVC's Top NFL Prospect.
In a breakdown of the OVC, Street & Smith picked Austin Peay as the champions followed by Jacksonville State, UT Martin, Southeast Missouri, Eastern Kentucky, Tennessee Tech, Murray State, Tennessee State and Eastern Illinois.
The OVC will announce its official predicted order of finish preseason poll and preseason All-OVC teams on Monday, July 20 as part of its virtual Media Day festivities.
