FLORENCE, Ala. - Tennessee State defeated North Alabama in three sets (25-19, 25-20, 25-15) Tuesday night in Florence, Ala. It was the Tigers third straight win.
The Tigers were led by Aleksandra Rojecka with 10 kills and a .381 hitting percentage.
Aniya Williams had nine kills and four blocks while Aria Holmes added seven kills.
Sofia Garcia-Guerrios dished out a team-best 27 assist and helped the Tigers hit .305 as a team.
Gina Rivera Ortiz paced the TSU defense with 17 digs in the win.
Tennessee State returns to action on Friday when it travels to the Bellarmine Invitational. TSU will face South Alabam and George Washington on Friday and play host Bellarmine on Saturday.
