Offensive:
Logan Wallick, OH, 6-0, Gr., Waddell, Ariz. - UT Martin
Wallick pieced together match-high kill performances in both ends of UT Martin’s home sweep over Southern Indiana. Her week began with 15 kills on a sizzling .375 hitting percentage during Friday’s four-set victory. She followed that with 13 kills on a .310 attack percentage as the Skyhawks won in three sets on Saturday.

Beilsmith led the Redhawks defensively with 56 total digs (9.33 digs/set) and five assists (0.83 assists/set) this past weekend against Eastern Illinois. Beilsmith averaged a whopping 9.33 digs per set over SEMO’s two matches with Eastern Illinois. Beilsmith grabbed a match-best 28 digs in each of the two matches with the Panthers. In the past five matches, Beilsmith has tallied 25 or more digs, anchoring the Redhawks back row. She ranks first in the OVC and fourth in the NCAA with 6.16 digs per set (413 total digs) in 2022. In league competition, Beilsmith is averaging 7.38 digs per set (155 digs), which also paces the conference.

Bessler stuffed the stat sheet twice this past week in two wins over TSU. In Thursday’s opener, she set a career high with a career-high 21 digs to go along with 52 assists, one shy of her season high. In Friday’s five-set win, she had 50 assists, 16 digs, a kill and a block. Her 11.3 assist average was a high for a two-match set this year.

Newcomer:
Daedrianna Cail, MB, Fr., 5-11, Marion, Ark. - Little Rock
Cail was the only player in the OVC last week to hit above .350, record 10 or more blocks and serve up 3 or more aces. She finished the week leading the Trojans in kills (21), hitting percentage (.378), service aces (5) and total blocks (16). Over the past week, her .378 hitting percentage ranked sixth in the OVC, her 5 aces ranked fourth, her 16 total blocks ranked second all accumulating a full-rotation, well-round performance unmatched across the board. Cail hit a team-leading .378 against SIUE, with an astounding 1.78 blocks per set (16 in total, 2 solo) over nine sets in Edwardsville. Recorded career-highs in kills (13), hitting percentage (.571) and aces (3) in Saturday’s five-set thriller after posting a career-best nine total blocks Friday (1 solo). With the weekend’s performance, she’s now 5th in the OVC in blocks per set (1.01) while her .288 season hitting percentage ranks her sixth in the league.
