OVC Male Golfer of the Week

Williams posted a three-round one-under to take second in the TVA Community Credit Union Invitational held at the Turtle Point Yacht & Country Club. Williams had rounds of 70-73-72 to finish at 215 (-1) which was second place, one shot behind the medalist. The senior had 12 birdies over the three rounds, while posting one eagle during the second round; he helped USI finished fifth overall out of 10 teams. Williams ranks fourth in the OVC in scoring average (71.8).

Skeen placed second out of 63 golfers at the Pinetree Intercollegiate held at the Pinetree Country Club in Kennesaw, Georgia. Skeen had rounds of 71-70-73 to finish at 214 (-2) and earn his fourth All-Tournament honors of the season. Skeen had four birdies in the final round. It marks his third Golfer of the Week honor for the 2022-23 season. Skeen currently leads the OVC in stroke average (70.3).

OVC Female Golfer of the Week

Dawson notched her first career top-10 finish as a Trojan, tying for 10th at the Little Rock Golf Classic with a 1-over 217. Her performance was highlighted by a career-best 4-under 68 in round one and followed by rounds of 75 and 74. Dawson was the top Trojan in par-five scoring at 4-under, ranking tied for third in the event as her 12 birdies was second among the individual field. The 217 is a new 54-hole tournament record, besting her 221 at the Green Wave Fall Classic last month. Dawson currently ranks fourth in the OVC in scoring average (74.0).
