LITTLE ROCK, Ark. - Little Rock came from behind to defeat visiting Southeast Missouri in five sets (22-25, 25-20, 25-20, 25-21, 15-12) on Tuesday. The Trojans improved to 2-8 in league play and 5-18 overall while the Redhawks fell to 6-4 in OVC action and 11-11 overall.
Little Rock was led by Nedima Kamberovic with 15 kills while Laure Jansen notched a double-double with 12 kills and a team-best 20 digs. Daria Burrows and Jeila Fullterton each had 11 kills in the win. Fullerton added 12 digs while Gabrielle Spankus dished out a team-best 39 assists to go with 17 digs.
Southeast Missouri's Kaelyn O'Brien recorded a triple double with 11 kills, 19 assists and 15 digs. Zoey Beasley led all players with 17 kills on a .256 hitting percentage. Izzy Lukens had 21 assists and 11 digs while Tara Beilsmith had a match-high 22 digs to go with 10 assists.
