EVANSVILLE, Ind
. - The Morehead State volleyball team totaled 53 kills en route to a 3-0 victory (25-14, 25-19, 25-23) against the Southern Indiana Screaming Eagles Friday on the road at Screaming Eagles Arena.

The victory improved MSU's record to 12-12 overall and 8-5 in OVC play. 

Abby Hulsman had a match-high 18 kills for Morehead State and also hit .444 with only two errors. Morehead State got a match-high 21 digs from Peighton Isley.

Morehead State attackers were helped by a match-high 43 assists from Bridget Bessler. She came within one dig of her 12th double-double. The offense generated a .339 attack percentage, while the defense limited USI to just .193. Maycie Welborn had 10 kills and a team-high three blocks. M.E. Hargan had eight kills with just one error for a .412 hitting night.

Leah Anderson notched a double-double for USI with 12 kills and 10 digs. 

SET 1 | The Eagles took control on the first point and never looked back to win the first set 25-14. Morehead State led by 11 points at 12-1 before closing out the set, collecting 15 kills in the process.

SET 2 | Morehead State took set two 25-19 to quickly jump to a 2-0 lead. The Eagles took control of the set lead early on at 3-2 and held the lead the rest of the way. Morehead State led by as many as seven points at 21-14 before finishing off the set, collecting 19 kills along the way.

SET 3 | Morehead State took set three to sweep the match 3-0. The Eagles led from the opening point on in the set to earn a 25-23 victory. Morehead State opened up as much as a four point lead at 10-6 before finishing off the set, totaling 19 kills in the process.

UT MARTIN 3, SIUE 0
EDWARDSVILLE, Ill.
- UT Martin defeated SIUE in three sets (25-16, 25-20, 26-24) on Friday night. 

The Skyhawks' Karen Scanlon had a match-high 16 kills while hitting .378. She added two aces and six digs. Logan Wallick added 13 kills while Dylan Mott had a team-best 13 digs.

Sydney Hummert led SIUE with 12 kills while Nicole Kijowski had a team-best 21 digs. Caroline Waite paced the Cougars with 18 assists. 

SOUTHEAST MISSOURI 3, LINDENWOOD 2
ST. CHARLES, Mo
. -  Three Redhawks finished in double-digits for kills as Southeast Missouri women's volleyball (12-14, 7-7 OVC) overcame Lindenwood (8-15, 5-9 OVC) in five sets (11-25, 27-25, 14-25, 25-18, 15-13) Friday night at Hyland Arena to split the regular-season series. 
 
Zoey Beasley led the SEMO attack with 17 kills on a .333 clip. Colby Greene added 11 kills (.226) while Addy McAleer notched her first career double-double of 10 kills and 11 digs to go with an ace and an assist. The 10 kills matched a career high for McAleer, a junior outside hitter, from Leawood, Kansas. 
 
SEMO grabbed the second and fourth stanzas to even the match at 2-2 and force a decisive fifth set for the second-straight evening against Lindenwood. 
 
In the fifth set, the Redhawks commenced with a 3-1 lead after a kill by Greene followed by a McAleer ace and Lions error. 
 
A rally stopper from Beasley followed by a Lindenwood attack error tied the set early at 4-4 and 5-5. 
 
Mackenzie Meehan added a kill to keep the Lions lead at one, 9-8, before a winner from Beasley followed by a Tara Beilsmith ace retied the stanza at 11-11.
 
Ramiri Gardner then blasted a kill from the middle blocker slot for another tie at 12-12. SEMO would then burn a timeout after a ballhandling error. 
 
Out of the stoppage, the Redhawks would claim the victory with three-straight points, 15-13. Gardner and McAleer both had kills to sandwich a bad Lions set. 
 
SEMO posted a hitting percentage of .318 in the final set Friday. 
 
Lindenwood took an early 1-0 lead Friday with a 25-11 set #1. The Lions hit .379 compared to SEMO's -.171. 
 
Rebecca Janke had six of her 14 kills in the first frame Friday.
 
The Redhawks would then even the match at 1-1 with a 27-25 second stanza. 
 
Trailing 14-9, SEMO utilized a 4-0 rally to come within one, 14-13. 
 
Beasley then knocked a kill following a Lions miscue to even the set at 20-20. 
 
Greene would then keep the frame tied with a rally stopper, 23-23, before Lindenwood brought on set point. 
 
SEMO would then even the match at 1-1, scoring four of the final five points during the second period. Avery Torrey and Mackenzie Meehan combined for a block for a 27-25 set win. 
 
The Lions then retook the lead with a 25-14 third set, where they hit a match-high .458. 
 
With their backs against the wall, the Redhawks hit a .444 to secure the fourth set, 25-18, only tallying three errors. 
 
With the Lions holding a 11-9 edge, SEMO went on a 4-0 run to pull ahead 13-11. The sequence featured kills from Meehan, Greene (2) and Beasley. 
 
Back-to-back rally stoppers from Beasley and Torrey then made the advantage, 17-13. Gardner added a kill to put the Redhawks up 20-15. 
 
Meehan and Greene then converted consecutive winners as the Lions would come as close as 22-18.
 
Beasley hit two-straight kills following a Lindenwood error to propel the Redhawks to a fifth set, 25-18.
 
Meehan tallied a career-best matching eight kills with three blocks while St. Peters, Missouri, native, Ramiri Gardner, finished with five kills and a solo block. 
 
Izzy Lukens posted 23 assists and 13 digs with three aces. 
 
Jenny Shook chipped in 15 assists and a personal-best nine digs.
 
Tara Beilsmith, a senior libero from Weldon Spring, Missouri, grabbed 20 digs with seven assists and two aces. 
 
Mackenzi Sifuentes led Lindenwood with 19 kills (.500) with three blocks, two aces, and two digs. Nyah Wilson added 12 kills and 16 digs while Taylor Gentemann finished with 10 kills and six digs.
 
Abby VanBuskirk totaled 51 assists with 14 digs. Jessie Seidel tallied 18 digs and four assists. 

With the win, SEMO halted its losing streak at four matches. 

TENNESSEE TECH 3, LITTLE ROCK 1
COOKEVILLE, Tenn
. - Tennessee Tech defeated visting Little Rock in four sets (27-29, 25-23, 25-10, 25-16) on Friday night. 

The Golden Eagles had three players reach double-digits in kills with Madolyn Isringhausen leading the way with 15. She had 11 digs and 10 blocks for the triple-double. Morgan Gish had 14 kills while Taylor Dorsey added 11. Jordan Karlen notched a double-double with 49 assists and 11 digs. McKenna Young led the team with 16 digs. 

Dara Burros led Little with with 10 kills while Rylee McClintock had a team-hgh 15 digs. Jaylnn Robinson paced the Trojans with 20 assists.
