The 2022 OVC Volleyball Championship will be held at the site of No. 1 UT Martin. This year marks the 42nd OVC Volleyball Championship, as the first event was held in 1981.
The event features four matches on Thursday, two matches on Friday and the Championship Match on Saturday night. Admission is $5 per day and free for students with ID. The event will be streamed on ESPN+.

#6 TENNESSEE STATE 3, #7 LINDENWOOD 2
MARTIN, Tenn. - The Tennessee State volleyball team rallied from a 2-0 hole to earn a come-from-behind 3-2 victory (15-25, 27-29, 25-23, 25-18, 15-12) against the Lindenwood (MO) Lions Friday at Skyhawk Field house.
The out-of-conference win improved Tennessee State's overall record to 18-15 on the season and gives TSU an opportunity to play in the OVC Championship match against either SEMO or UT Martin.
The Tiger offense was paced by Johanna Alcantara, who finished with 22 kills on the day while accumulating a hitting percentage of .32. Kennedy Davis added 12 and Celestial Miller chipped in with 12 as part of a balanced Tennessee State attack. Defensively, TSU had three players reach double figures in digs, including Gina Rivera-Ortiz's 29, 15 from Sofia Garcia-Guerrios, and 11 more from Hadley Pride. From the front row, Aleksandra Rojecka contributed six blocks.
Lindenwood was led by Mackenzi Sifuentes with 17 kills while Taylor Gentemen had 16 kills. Nyah Wilson had a double-double with 12 kills and 11 digs. Rebecca Janke added 11 kills and Jessie Seidel had 21 digs.
#5 SOUTHEAST MISSOURI 3, #1 UT MARTIN 2
MARTIN, Tenn. -Southeast Missouri upset top-seeded UT Martin in five sets (13-25, 25-19, 22-25, 25-22, 15-11) to advance to its second straight OVC Championship match.
The Redhawks will take on Tennessee State tomorrow at 7 p.m. CT.
Kayla Closset and Zoey Beasley led Southeast Missouri with 21 kills each. Closset added 14 digs for the double-double. Izzy Lukens also had a double-double with 45 assists and 20 digs. Tara Beilsmith led all players with 42 digs to go along with 12 assists.
UT Martin was led by Karen Scanlon with 15 kills and 14 digs while Logan Wallick added 13 kills. Dylan Motth paced the team with 18 digs while Haleigh Paulino had a squad-best 24 assists and 13 digs.
