SAVANNAH, Ga.
- UT Martin fell to Marshall, 7-57, in the first game of the Hostilo Community Classic on Monday night. 

Kenley McCarn led the Skyhawks with 14 points, going 4-for-8 from the field. She hit a pair of three-pointers. Sharnecce Currie-Jelks added 12 points to go with five rebounds. Lexi Rubel had a team-best six boards and seven points. 

The Skyhawks will continue play at the Hostilo Community Classic on Tuesday when they play Norfolk State. 

BUTLER 72, TENNESSEE STATE 55
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind
. - The Tennessee State women's basketball team got a 22-point showing from the bench, but fell 72-55 to the Butler Bulldogs on the road Monday.

The Lady Tigers (2-3) had two players score in double figures, led by Gia Adams, who had 14 points. Ashley Malone added 10 points and two steals off of the bench and Saniah Parker added nine points and two steals.

Tennessee State forced 22 Butler turnovers while committing 19 themselves in Monday's game. The Lady Tigers turned those takeaways into 19 points on the other end of the floor. Erica Haynes-Overton led the way individually with four steals.

Tennessee State kept it close in the first quarter, but entered the second frame down 18-14.

The Lady Tigers fought back in the second period, narrowing the deficit to 30-28 by the time halftime rolled around.

Tennessee State's deficit continued to grow after halftime, and the Lady Tigers faced a 54-39 disadvantage heading to the fourth quarter. Tennessee State played well near the basket, scoring six of its 11 points in the paint.

Tennessee State could not pull any closer in the fourth, losing by a final of 72-55. Tennessee State took advantage of seven Butler turnovers in the quarter, scoring nine points off of those takeaways.

TSU will be back in action on November 27 as they are set to take on Omaha.

CINCINNATI 71, LINDENWOOD 60
ST. CHARLES, Mo.
- Lindenwood fell to visiting Cincinnati, 71-60, on Monday night. 

The Lions' Mary McGarth led all players with 22 points, shooting 64.3 percent from the floor. She hit four three-pointers and brought down six rebounds. Masyn McWilliams hit a trio of three-pointers and finished the game with 17 points

Lindenwood will travel to the Grand Canyon Thanksgiving Classic this weekend where it will face Manhattan on Friday.
