OVC Women's Basketball Coordinator of Officials Lisa Mattingly to be Inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame

Lisa Mattingly, the Ohio Valley Conference Coordinator of Women's Basketball Officials, has been selected to the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2023. 

Mattingly has been with the OVC since 2018. In addition to the OVC, she leads an officiating consortium of conferences that include the SEC, Sun Belt, A-Sun, SWAC and Southland. 

She has officiated in 10 NCAA Women's Final Four championship games and seven semifinals. Mattingly has also officiated the WNBA League Championship series from 2000-07 and the WNBA League Finals from 2002-06. 

She was the 2002 recipient of the 2022 Naismith Award as Outstanding Official 

The 2023 Induction will mark the 24th Class of Inductees to be honored by the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame, which held its grand opening and inaugural induction in 1999. The Class of 2023 will be inducted into the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame, receiving their coveted Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame Trophy and Baron Championship Induction Ring, on April 29th, 2023, in Knoxville, Tennessee. The Women's Basketball Hall of Fame Board of Trustees serves as the selection committee in determining the individuals to be inducted each year. Voting is based on minimum candidate requirements, which include a record of performance, national or international recognition, and contributions to the game of women's basketball.
