MURRAY, Ky. - Murray State defeated UTEP, 6-0, on Thursday afternoon to extend their winning streak to six straight games. The Racers improved to 16-8 overall.
Gracie Osborn went 3-for-4, including hitting her first home run of the season. She scored two runs and drove in three. Sierra Gilmore had a hit and two RBI while Lindsey Carroll and Jensen Striegel each also recorded a hit.
Kamryn Carcich earned the win in the circle for the Racers, pitching 5.0 innings and striking out four.
The Racers open up OVC play this on Saturday as they travel to SIUE.
