Morrell tied for second out of 96 golfers at the Grover Page Classic held at the Jackson Country Club. The senior carded rounds of 71-67-70 to finish at 208, which was one shot behind the medalist to record the best tournament finish of his career. His play helped the Skyhawks finish third in a field of 16 teams, including six total OVC squads. His second round score of 67 was a career-best. Morrell ranked in the top-10 in the tournament field in par-3 scoring (2.92, second), eagles (2, third), par-4 scoring (3.97, sixth) and birdies (13, seventh).
