LITTLE ROCK, Ark
. - Angelique Francis scored a career-high 22 points and Little Rock forced 22 turnovers out of Lindenwood in a 62-38 rout between the two first-year members of the Ohio Valley Conference.
 
The Trojans (6-8, 3-0 Ohio Valley) led wire-to-wire and never relented, holding the visiting Lions to just 12 first half points. 
 
Francis put together a nice game, shooting 69% from the field (9-for-13) with 22 points, eight rebounds and drawing six fouls including one charge. Faith Lee added 12 points while Jayla Brooks scored a career-high 12 points in the game.
 
Jaiyah Harris-Smith scored six while adding seven rebounds and five assists. Tia Harvey matched a career-best two blocks.
 
The Trojans, which shot 43.5% from the field, limited Lindenwood to just five assists while forcing 22 turnovers, seven of which came off steals. Nikki Metcalfe was credited with a career-high three steals in the game.
 
Little Rock led by as much as 18 in the first half, holding Lindenwood (1-13, 0-3) scoreless for nearly seven minutes of a lopsided second quarter.  That lead grew to as much as 34 in the final period before Trojans Head Coach Joe Foley emptied his bench. 
 
Mary McGrath led Lindenwood with 14 points and nine rebounds. The Lions were held to under 50 points for the fifth game this season while becoming the fifth Trojan opponent to be limited to under the 50-point threshold.
