OVC Male Co-Golfer of the Week
Anton Albers · Fifth Year. · Buchholz, Germany · Little Rock
Albers claimed the top spot in the 83-player field at the 38th Annual Louisiana Classics in Lafayette, Louisiana with a 1-under 212 (74-69-69), leading Little Rock to a second-place finish in the 14-team field. Albers' win brings his career total to four, tying him with Daniel Fox for the most career wins in program history. His performance also moves him into second for career rounds played as a Trojan (119), one round off from the program record 120. He currently ranks seventh in the OVC in scoring average (72.6).

OVC Male Co-Golfer of the Week

Bannister tied for second at the Bobby Nichols Intercollegiate held at the Sevierville Golf Club. He had rounds of 68-72-71 to finish at 211 (-5) which tied the USI 54-hole program record.  His first round of 68 was the second-lowest in program history, as was his 36-hole total of 140. He was also just one of eight competitors in the tournament to record an eagle, which he did on his final hole of the tournament, recording a three on the par-five third hole. He finished the tournament tied for third in total pars made as well as third in average par-five score, 4.50, and second in average par-three score, 2.75.  He helped the Screaming Eagles to a third-place team finish in the 14-team field, including finishing ahead of three other OVC teams. He ranks ninth in the OVC in scoring average (73.0).

OVC Female Golfer of the Week
Ruth Tonnessen · Fr. · Stavanger, Norway  · Morehead State
Tonnessen took medalist honors at the Spring Break Shootout held at the Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Dade City, Florida. She had rounds of 71-67-72 to finish at 210 (-3), which was three shots ahead of the field of 90. It marked her first collegiate title and her third OVC Golfer of the Week honors of the season. She tied for the tournament leads in birdies with 13. Her performance held MSU finish fourth in a field of 16 teams. She is currently tied for second in the OVC in scoring average (75.0).
