MALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Noah Hufnagel ,Sr., Santa Claus, Ind. – Southern Indiana
Hufnagel took first in the 5,000-meters at the WashU Distance Carnival. His time of 14:05.50 broke a stadium record and is first in the OVC this season.

FEMALE TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Madelyn Gray, So., Sophomore, St. Peters, Mo. – Southeast Missouri
Gray took first in the 800-meters at the Joey Haines Invitational last week. Her time of 2:12.59 is tops in the league this year. She was also part of the 4x400-meter relay team that took second place with a time of 3:56.79 which is second in the OVC this season.

MALE FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Ramsey Hunt, Jr., Oakland, Ill. – Eastern Illinois

Hunt took second in the long jump at the Texas Relays last week. His jump of 25-08.75 broke a school record that has stood since 1974. His mark is also first in the league and 12th in the Nation this year.

CO-FEMALE FIELD ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Makenzie Williams, Jr., East Prairie, Missouri – Southeast Missouri

Williams  earned a pair of top five finishes at the Joey Haines Invitational last week. She placed third in the discus with a toss of 151-06 while also finishing fourth in the hammer throw with a mark of 190-04 Her hammer throw mark is first in the OVC this season.
 
Alexis Hutchins, Jr., Harvey, Ill. – SIUE
Hutchins took second in the shot put at the Joey Haines Invitational last week with a mark of 45-05.25 which is tops in the league this season. She also finished eighth in the hammer throw with a toss of 162-07 to place her fourth in the OVC this year.

MALE FRESHMAN  OF THE WEEK
Hugo Vazquez, Fr., A Couruna, Spain – Lindenwood

Vazquez won the 110-meter hurdles at the Joey Haines Invitational last week. His time of 14.48 is second in the league this year. He also finished eight in the 200 meters with a time of 22.52.

FEMALE FRESHMAN  OF THE WEEK
Clara Billing, Fr., Rudbecksskolan, Sweden – Southeast Missouri
Billing won the 100-meter hurdles at the Joey Haines Invitational last week. Her time of 14.68 places her in the OVC Top 10 this season. She also took first place in the pole vault with a mark of 12-05.50.
