#5 EASTERN ILLINOIS 6, #1 MOREHEAD STATE 5
MARION, Ill. - Eastern Illinois won its fifth game in four games by topping No. 1 seed Morehead State 6-5 to win the 2023 OVC Baseball Tournament Championship.
It was the third overall title for the Panthers and first since 2008. EIU also won the OVC Softball Championship last weekend, making it the first OVC team to accomplish the softball/baseball tournament feat in the same year since 2010.
