The Ohio Valley Conference has announced the 2023 men's soccer Conference schedule.
The 2023 season marks the inaugural season of men's soccer in the OVC. It was announced in March that men's soccer would become the conference’s 19th-sponsored sport.
Eight teams will compete in the OVC during the inaugural season, including four current OVC schools in Eastern Illinois, Lindenwood, SIUE and Southern Indiana. In addition, Chicago State, HCU (Houston Christian), Liberty and UIW (Incarnate word) join as affiliate members. Western Illinois, who becomes an official OVC member on July 1, will play one final year of men's soccer in the Summit League before joining the OVC in men's soccer ahead of the 2024 season.
The teams will play a 10-game league schedule, playing three teams twice and four teams once. Matches will take place on Thursdays and Sundays and begin on September 28.
The OVC Men's Soccer Championship will take place November 5, 8 & 11 in Edwardsville, Illinois on the campus of SIUE.
