CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Meredith Raley, F • 6’0, Fifth Year • Haubstadt, Ind. • Southern Indiana
Raley led Southern Indiana to a perfect 3-0 week in averaged 14.3 points and 5.3 rebounds/game while hitting 44.1 percent (15-of-34) from the field. She tallied 11 points and nine rebounds in a victory at Murray State to open the week. Three days later in just 15 minutes against IU Southeast, Raley had 13 points on 4-of-6 shooting, while adding three rebounds and two assists. She closed the week by scoring 19 points in the team’s win over defending WNIT Champion Saint Louis. The fifth year hit 7-of-12 field goals (including 3-of-4 3-pointers) while adding four rebounds and a steal.

CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Raegan McCowan, G • 5-11, So. • Lebanon, Mo. • Western Illinois

McCowan averaged 20.5 points, 7.0 rebounds and 1.0 steals/game while knocking down 11 3-pointers in a pair of games last week. The reigning OVC Freshman of the Year had 14 points, seven rebounds and two steals in WIU’s 62-43 victory over Kansas City. She followed that with a game-high 27 points against SEC foe Missouri on Friday. McCowan hit 10-of-23 field goals while adding seven rebounds in 35 minutes of action. She is currently leading the OVC in scoring (23.8 points/game), a mark that ranks 11th nationally.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK
Brooke Coffey, G • 6-1, So. • St. Charles, Mo. • Lindenwood
Coffey, a transfer from Illinois State, averaged 11.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals/game while hitting 61.5 percent (8-of-13) from the field and 87.5 percent (7-of-8) at the free throw line in a pair of victories. The sophomore netted her first career double-double against Bradley, scored 11 points and pulling down 12 rebounds. In that game she hit 3-of-4 field goals and 5-of-6 free throws. Coffey followed that with 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting while adding five rebounds and five assists in 25 minutes against Harris-Stowe.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Somah Kamara, G • 5-10, Fr. • Brooklyn Center, Minn. • Tennessee State
Kamara averaged 15.0 points, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals/game while hitting 51.7 percent (15-of-29) from the field and 72.7 percent (13-of-18) from the free throw line in three games. The guard had 22 points and six rebounds to start the week at Lipscomb, connecting on 9-of-14 field goals in 28 minutes. She followed that performance with eight points, two rebounds and two steals at Wright State. Kamara concluded the week with 15 points, a rebound and steal at Dayton.
