SEMO delivered a strong performance in the fourth set with a .455 hitting percentage but ultimately could not overcome the Tigers' decisive fifth-set play.
Southeast Missouri started strong with a kill by Katherine St. John, assisted by Nina Schuberth, to take an early lead. The Tigers quickly responded with a series of points, including a kill by Janet deMarrais and a service ace by Tyrah Ariail, building a 7-3 advantage.
