OVC Players of the Week

OFFENSE
Emily Baker, F, 5-5, Jr., Alton, Mo. – Southeast Missouri
Baker scored two second half goals to complete a comeback against UT Martin. The junior scored in the 88th minute a free kick from 22 yards away to even the score at 1-1. She recorded the game-winning goal on a penalty in the 89th minute. The win was the first of the season for the Redhawks.

DEFENSE
Colleen Bauer, D, 5-7, So., Copley, Ohio – Eastern Illinois
Bauer anchored the Panthers back line playing all 90 minutes as EIU posted its sixth consecutive shutout to move to 4-0 in OVC play.   EIU allowed five shots on goal in the win with most coming for MSU in the second half after the Panthers built a 1-0 lead midway through the opening 45 minutes.

GOALKEEPER
Ella Kratochvil, GK, 5-11, Jr., Wind Lake, Wis. – Eastern Illinois
Kratochvil registered five saves to shutout Morehead State. The junior posted her seventh shutout of the season and sixth straight. The six straight shutouts are the most in school history. This marks the second consecutive week for the honor
