MOREHEAD, Ky. - Morehead State nearly tied a program record for three-point shots made and rolled over Kentucky Christian115-36 Sunday in Ellis T. Johnson Arena in the Eagles' final non conference game of the season.
 
Morehead State (5-8, 0-2 OVC) hit 18 of their 43 three-point attempts in the game, just missing the program record of 19 made treys set in the 2013-14 season versus Berea.  Josefine Enander led the Eagles with a career-high 23 points, hitting seven of her eight three-point tries.
 
Laura Toffali and Violet McNece finished with 16 points each; a career-high for McNece. Kate Dike added 14 points and Marie Sepp finished with 13. Toffali finished with nine steals, which is the highest total in a game for a Morehead State player in known program records.
 
Kentucky Christian (4-8, 1-0 RSC) was led by Bell Sparks with nine points. The Knights were forced into 38 turnovers in the game. Morehead State held a 43-2 advantage in points off turnovers.
 
The Eagles led 28-12 after the first quarter, hitting 47% (9-19) from the floor. Morehead State outscored the Knights 22-4 in the second quarter and led 50-16 at the half.
 
MSU rolled in the second half, outscoring KCU 42-14 in the third quarter hitting 70% (14-20) from the floor. The Eagles dominated in the final ten minutes, outscoring KCU 23-6.
