Juztyne Torres, IF, Fr., 5-4, San Antonio, Texas – SIUE
Torres made the most of her opportunities at the plate with three extra-base hits, helping the Cougars go 3-1 for the weekend. The freshman hit her first career home run against Rutgers in a 4-1 victory. She collected three RBI with a double and a triple in a victory over East Texas A&M. Torres finished with 10 total bases and team-leading 1.250 slugging percentage.

Avery Arwood, P, Fr., 5-10, St. Joseph, Mich. – SIUE
Arwood had a perfect weekend at 2-0 with wins over Abilene Christian and Rutgers. The freshman fanned eight and allowed just five hits to ACU in her first collegiate victory. She followed up with strong outing against Big Ten opponent (Rutgers) where she allowed just six hits.
