LINDENWOOD 4, TENNESSEE TECH 3
ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Lindenwood softball (23-21, 14-10 OVC) scored four runs in the seventh inning to complete the comeback and weekend sweep over the Golden Eagles of Tennessee Tech (16-32, 8-16 OVC) by a final score of 4-3. This marks the first Ohio Valley Conference weekend sweep for the Lions as they move to 14-10 in conference play.

Avery Wapp started the game for the Lions finishing the outing throwing 3.0 innings allowing three runs on three hits with four walks and three strikeouts. Wapp started the game with a scoreless inning after the Lions turned a double play off a bunt attempt.

Tennessee Tech scored the first run off of Wapp in the top of the second inning after a solo home run by Sydney Kirby. Tech would score two more off of Wapp to start the third inning after a two RBI double by Makayli Harris reached the gap putting TTU ahead 3-0. Owens and Roulanaitis in relief allowed just two hits after the third inning.

Lindenwood had multiple chances to get on the scoreboard including a bases loaded situation in the fifth. After a walk by Madisen Noll and single by Teryn Brown, Theresa Snaidauf loaded the bases with a walk. The inning ended with a groundout by Irelynn West as the Golden Eagles still led by three runs.

It came down to the bottom of the seventh for the Lions, as they ended the game scoring four runs in walk-off fashion. Senior outfielder Hanna Johanning got the Lions on the board first with a solo home run to center field marking her first of the season. With runners on the corners and two outs, Hatton delivered an RBI base hit through the right side to bring home Anna Sanders. McMinn then tied the game with a single to center field scoring West.

Lindenwood secured their 14th win in conference play after Mya Bethany singled in between second base and shortstop, advancing the runners. As the second baseman dove for the ball, pinch runner Izzy Wilcox continued running home as the throw was late to the plate scoring the final run of the game.

UT MARTIN 6, TENNESSEE STATE 0
MARTIN, Tenn.
- The University of Tennessee at Martin softball team captured the series win against Tennessee State Sunday by shutting out the Tigers for the second time in two days, 6-0, at Bettye Giles Field in Martin. Prior to the game, Alli Robinson was honored as part of the Senior Day tradition.

The only offense the Skyhawks needed came in the second inning when they exploded for the only six runs of the game by either team. Jordyn Hustey started the scoring with a single up the middle that scored Dylan Scott and Carly Ward, who reached on a double and single, respectively, earlier in the frame.
