PLAYER
Kaylynn Salyars, 2B, Sr., 5-6, Muscatine, Iowa – SIUE
Salyars homered and doubled in SIUE's 3-1 win to start the road series at Eastern Illinois. The senior collected two hits in each of the three games. She doubled and drove in two runs in SIUE's 10-2 win to close out the series. Salyars garnered four runs, two doubles, four RBI and a stolen base on the week as she improved her season batting average to .404.
Nyla Doiron, C/UT, Fr., 5-8, Zachary, La. – Morehead State
Doiron batted .429 on the week with three doubles, two runs and eight RBI. She added one walk, one hit by pitch and three sacrifice flies, as well as a 1.000 fielding percentage. The freshman had a team season-high seven RBI in the second game of the series and had the game-winning RBI in the third game.

PITCHER
Ashtyn Green, RHP, Jr., 5-7, Lynnville, Ind. – UT Martin
Green tossed two shutouts in as many days against Tennessee State, throwing 13.0 scoreless innings with nine strikeouts, no walks, an opponent’s batting average of just .208 and a WHIP of 0.769. She allowed three hits and struck out four in her first shutout of the Tigers Saturday, then allowed seven hits with five strikeouts in her second shutout Sunday.
