OVC Runners of the Week
 
MALE CO-RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Alex Nolan • Jr. • Evansville, Ind. • Southern Indiana
Nolan took first place out of 63 runners at the Stegemoller Twilight in Evansville to begin the 2025 season. The junior finished the 6K course in a time of 17:46.0, which was 28 seconds ahead of second place. His performance helped the Screaming Eagles to a first-place team finish at the meet.
 
MALE CO-RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Luke Johnson • R-Jr. • Oxford, Miss. • UT Martin
Won his first career race, taking first place out of 85 runners at the Redhawks Invitational held at the Osage Centre fields in Cape Girardeau. The redshirt junior covered the 5K course in 15:09.62, which was three seconds ahead of second place. It was a personal best time for Johnson who missed the end of last season with an injury. His performance helped UT Martin to the team title (in a field that included four other OVC teams), its first meet championship since 2022.

FEMALE RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Hadessah Austin • So. • Attica, Ind. • Southern Indiana
Austin started the 2025 season by winning the Stegemoller Twilight in Evansville. The sophomore finished the 4K race in 13:47.1, edging her teammate Ellie Hall by a tenth of a second. Her performance helped USI captured the team title at its own event.
