OVC Runners of the Week
MALE RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Alex Nolan • Jr. • Evansville, Ind. • Southern Indiana
Nolan placed 20th out of 460 runners at the Southern Showcase, held at the John Hunt Cross Country Course in Huntsville. The field included 48 teams, including one nationally ranked and 10 regionally ranked squads. Nolan finished the 8K course in 24:06.3, which was tied for the sixth-best time in USI history (tied with his brother Austin, who is now an assistant with the program). His performance helped the Screaming Eagles to an 11th place team finish. It is the fastest 8K time in the OVC this season by nearly 32 seconds.

FEMALE RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Hadessah Austin • So. • Attica, Ind. • Southern Indiana
Austin finished 26th out of 481 competitors at the Southern Showcase, held at the John Hunt Cross Country Course in Huntsville. The field included 52 total teams, including one nationally ranked and 10 regionally ranked entering the meet. The sophomore covered the 5K course in 17:18.6, which ranked as the third all-time in USI history. It is the top 5K time in the OVC this year by over 32 seconds.
