OVC Runners of the Week
MALE RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Ian O'Laughlin • Grad. • Metamora, Ill. • SIUE
O'Laughlin took first place out of 46 runners at the SIU Oscar Moore Invitational held in Carbondale, Illinois. He covered the 8K course in 25:11.1, which was eight seconds ahead of second place. He is the first SIUE men's competitor to win a race since the 2016 season.

FEMALE RUNNER OF THE WEEK
Brenda Torres • Jr. • Prospect Heights, Ill. • Eastern Illinois
Torres finished eighth out of 120 runners at the John McNichols Invitational hosted by Indiana State. The junior covered the 6K course in 22:12.19, which was just nine seconds out of fifth place in the competitive field. Her performance helped Eastern Illinois finish fourth overall. This marks her second OVC Runner of the Week award of the season and fourth of her career.
