PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mia Nicastro, F, Sr., 6-2, St. Charles, Mo. – Western Illinois
Nicastro averaged 30.5 points and 13.0 rebounds/game, shooting 62.5-percent from the field and 100-percent from the free throw line (20-20). The senior posted 33 points and 12 rebounds at Eastern Illinois before recording 28 points and 14 rebounds at Little Rock, logging nearly 39 minutes per game. She added 4.5 steals and 1.5 blocks/game.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK
Aleshia Jones, G, Gr., 5-7, Leavenworth, Kan. – Lindenwood
Jones registered her fourth 20-point game of the year in a win at Southeast Missouri. The graduate followed with 19 points at UT Martin. She added 4.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals/game and shot 90-percent from the line and 58-percent from the field.

FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
LaReesha Cawthorn, F, Fr., 6-0, Franklin, Ky. – Tennessee Tech
Cawthorn recorded 16 rebounds, including 11 offensive boards, to go with 14 points for her third career double-double versus Southern Indiana. She also had a block and three steals in the game. The freshman had seven points against Morehead State with nine rebounds, two steals and five blocks.
