MARTIN, Tenn. - The University of Tennessee at Martin soccer team overcame an early 1-0 deficit to defeat Southeast Missouri, 2-1, at Skyhawk Soccer Field Saturday on Senior Day.

The Redhawks were first on the board in the 36th minute when Chloe Ouimet fed the ball to Mathea Konig, who put the ball in the back of the net for the 1-0 lead. However, just 32 seconds later, Maggie Stephens got the ball and answered for the Skyhawks to tie the game, 1-1. In the 60th minute, Alex Weihs found Millie Perry right in front of the net, who scored to give UT Martin the 2-1 lead and eventual win.

UT Martin outshot SEMO overall, 15-10, and placed more shots on goal, 7-6. Mac Titus earned her fifth win of the season by making five saves over a full 90 minutes between the posts

With the win and depending on the results of the three matches Sunday, the Skyhawks can enter the last weekend of the regular season as high as a tie for first place, but no worse than third place.
