MACOMB, Ill. - Just one day after being swept by Western Illinois, SIUE volleyball responded by completely flipping the script Saturday afternoon, earning a 3-0 victory over the Leathernecks at Western Hall to split the weekend series 1-1.
The Cougars dominated the rematch, winning the sets by scores of 25-21, 25-14 and 25-18. As a team, SIUE recorded a total of 46 kills on a .343 attack percentage, while limiting Western Illinois to just 35 kills on .167 hitting.
