SIUE 4, MOREHEAD STATE 0
MOREHEAD, Ky. - SIUE women's soccer improved to 2-0 in Ohio Valley Conference play Sunday with a decisive 4-0 road victory at Morehead State.

Tori Bockstadter and Claire Nieroda each had a goal and two assists for the Cougars, which improved to 4-3-3 overall.

SIUE scored twice in each half. Bockstadter opened the scoring at 13:54 with her third goal of the season off a pass from Nieroda.

Just 75 seconds later, Nieroda put the Cougars up 2-0 with her OVC-leading seventh goal of the season. Bockstadter returned the favor from the first goal and provided the assist.

The Cougars outshot the Eagles, now 5-8, by a 10-1 advantage over the first 45 minutes. Morehead State stepped up its offensive play with five shots in the second half, but it was the Cougars who kept finding the back of the net.

MaryClaire Imig scored her third goal of the season at 60:21. This time, both Bockstadter and Nieroda were in the final third to provide the assist.

Marin Vines made it 4-0 for the Cougars at 81:28, scoring on a pass from Zeniyah Russell.

Baylor Lynch earned her first career shutout in the victory and recorded two saves. Allie Lammers and Amira Hendrick shared time in goal for Morehead State and combined for four saves.
 

SOUTHERN INDIANA 1, SOUTHEAST MISSOURI 1
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. 
- Southeast Missouri tied Southern Indiana 1-1 on Sunday at Houck Stadium. The Redhawks put all 10 of their shots after halftime, including a 67:52-to-75:43 stretch with six shots and two corner kicks.

Southeast Missouri generated 10 shots, including a second-half stretch with six shots and two corner kicks, but Southern Indiana finished with advantages in total shots, 13-10, and shots on goal, 5-2. Olivia Klinkhardt opened the scoring off assists from Jasmine Barney and Taylor Cassidy, while Natalie Allison made four saves as the Redhawks limited Southern Indiana to one goal.

Allison made two saves as Southeast Missouri held Southern Indiana scoreless in a first half in which the visitors took five shots. SEMO earned a corner kick in the eighth minute but did not record a shot. The half ended 0-0.

Southeast Missouri broke through early in the second half when Klinkhardt scored in the 49th minute off assists from Barney and Cassidy for a 1-0 lead. The Redhawks continued to create chances, including Alyssa Schulte's shot off the right woodwork at 67:52, Mathea Konig's saved attempt at 72:13 and Maria Fernanda Lopez Ibarra's shot off the left woodwork. Southern Indiana equalized on Emma Schut's goal at 75:43, and the half ended with the match even at 1-1.
 

EASTERN ILLINOIS 2, WESTERN ILLINOIS 1
CHARLESTON, Ill. 
- Senior day was special for Eastern Illinois women's soccer as the Panthers picked up a 2-1 win over in-state rival Western Illinois for their first Ohio Valley Conference win of the season.
 
EIU improved to 3-5-3 overall, 1-1 in the OVC.  WIU fell to 1-12 overall, 0-2 in the OVC.
 
Senior Alex Tetteh had a big role during the day playing a part in both EIU goals in the contest.
 
She put the Panthers up 1-0 in the 18th minute with her 21st career goal with an assist from fellow senior Amelia Mundo.
 
The match was tied 1-1 at the half as an own goal by EIU attributed for the Western Illinois first half tally in the 36th minute.
 
In the final 15 minutes Tetteh found space and raced down the right side of the pitch passing to a wide open Amara Leppla as Leatherneck defenders closed on Tetteh's position.  Leppla flicked on a right-footed touch for the match winner in the 78th minute.  It was the third straight match with a goal for the Panthers freshman.
 
Senior Ella Kratochvil made six saves in the match as EIU honored eight seniors prior to the match at Lakeside Field.  EIU's senior class includes Kratochvil, Tetteh, Mundo, Abby Reinl, Brooklynn Greene, Katiebeth May, Isabella Hubble and Ashlyn Nobles.
 
WIU finished with 17 total shots in the match led by Claire Brown with five and Rita Moran with four including two of the six Leathernecks shots on goal.
 

UT MARTIN 1, LINDENWOOD 0
MARTIN, Tenn. 
- Peyton Cook's 50th-minute goal gave the University of Tennessee at Martin soccer team a 1-0 Ohio Valley Conference win over Lindenwood Sunday night at the Skyhawk Soccer Field in Martin.

Early in the second half, Cook dispossessed a Lindenwood player, dribbled the ball and fired from 25 yards out, just beyond the top of the penalty arc. The ball went sailing into the top right corner, through the hands of the Lindenwood goalkeeper and into the back of the net.

UT Martin limited the Lions to just two shots on goal and eight overall, while the Skyhawks had 15 total shots and seven on goal. Alex Weihs had seven of UT Martin's 15 shots on the night, in addition to four of its seven shots on goal.

Mac Titus made two saves and picked up her third consecutive clean sheet and fifth of the season in the win. The fifth-year goalkeeper has not allowed a goal in her last 356:13 between the posts.

With the win, the Skyhawks are now 1-0-1 in league play with four points, placing them tied for second in the league table with Southeast Missouri and just two points behind leaders SIUE.
