PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mia Nicastro, F, Sr., 6-2, St. Charles, Mo. – Western Illinois
Nicastro averaged 24.5 points and 11.0 rebounds/game to help Western Illinois to a pair of wins. The senior added four assists, a steal and a blocked shot. She recorded her 1,000th point as a Leatherneck. This marks the fifth honor of the season for Nicastro.

NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK
Kearra Jones, F, So., Madison, Wis. – Southeast Missouri
Jones produced a season-high 19 points at Eastern Illinois, shooting 8-of-12 (67%). The sophomore recorded her third double-double of the season adding 13 rebounds against EIU. She ended the week with 21 total rebounds, three assists and a steal.

CO-FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
LaReesha Cawthorn, F, Fr., 6-0, Franklin, Ky. – Tennessee Tech
Cawthorn recorded the fifth double-double of her rookie campaign, posting 10 points and 10 rebounds versus Little Rock. The freshman added an assist, a steal and a block against the Trojans. This is the fourth honor for Cawthorn.
Sidni Middleton, G, Fr., 5-10, Vilonia, Ark. – UT Martin
Middleton averaged 9.5 points and 4.0 rebounds/game as UT Martin finished 1-1 on the week. The freshman scored eight points at Eastern Illinois and 11 at Western Illinois. She was a perfect 7-for-7 from the line and now ranks fourth in the nation with a 92.0 free throw percentage. Middleton has earned three honors on the season.
