Ferrarini picked up a victory at No. 1 singles in her match at Western Illinois. The junior collected a three-set win (6-3, 4-6, 7-5) in the top spot, giving the Screaming Eagles their lone win of the day.

Women’s Tennis Co-Doubles Team of the Week
Margaux Guibal Britt (Sr., Rossville, Tenn.) & Stefaniya Anikina (Jr., Karaganda, Kazakhstan) – SIUE
Guibal Britt & Anikina earned a win in their lone match of the week to help SIUE earn a win to start OVC play. The pair secured a 6-1 decision at No. 1 singles help gain the doubles point on the way to a 7-0 win against Tennessee State.
Mana Fawcett (So., Acworth, Ga.) & Jessica Hess (Jr., Grabouw, South Africa) – Western Illinois
Fawcett & Hess finished 1-0 on the week and helped the Leathernecks start OVC play 1-0. The duo secured the doubles point against Southern Indiana with a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles. The WIU combination earned their fifth weekly honor this season.
