Several volleyball and beach volleyball squads that participated in the Ohio Valley Conference during the 2025-26 year have earned the AVCA Team Academic Award.
 
Volleyball programs from Eastern Illinois, Morehead State, Southeast Missouri, SIUE, Southern Indiana and Tennessee Tech were honored.

Morehead State and Southeast Missouri each earned the honor for the 18th straight year. SEMO was also named to the Team Academic Honor Roll.

Chattanooga, Lindenwood and Morehead State beach squads also earned recognition.
 
The award, initiated in the 1992–93 academic year, honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade-point average of 3.3 on a 4.0 scale or 4.1 on a 5.0 scale. The additional distinction of Team Academic Honor Roll celebrates programs in the top 20% of GPAs for their division.
