• Complete AFCA FCS Coaches Top 25

The AFCA FCS Coaches Preseason Top 25 poll is out and OVC preseason favorite UT Martin is at No. 22 while Southeast Missouri is among those receiving votes.

The Skyhawks, who were No. 23 in the Preseason Stats Perform Poll released two weeks ago, have won or shared four of the past five OVC Championships (2021, 2022, 2023, 2024) and have won FCS Playoff games in each 2021 and 2024.  UTM begins its 21st season under head coach Jason Simpson. Simpson needs just three Conference victories to move into second-place in League history. UTM opens the season by hosting Central Arkansas on August 27.

SEMO, picked second in the OVC Preseason Poll, enters year No. 13 under head coach Tom Matukewicz. The Redhawks also picked up votes in the Stats Perform Poll. They open the season at Indiana State on August 29.
