Wardlaw won all three of her head-to-head matches as Southern Indiana began the season at the Midwest Match Play Championship in Jackson, Michigan.  She scored wins by marks of 6&4 (UIC), 7&6 (Detroit) and 4&3 (Purdue Fort Wayne). During the event she tallied nine birdies, including five in her match against UIC. Her performance helped the Screaming Eagles win two of its three matches and take a second-place team finish in the event.
