Massey placed 33rd in a field of over 300 runners with a time of 24:44.2 in the Southern Showcase (Invitational division). The time is the top 8k result in the OVC this season. The graduate posted MSU’s best result at the meet by 141 places. He ran his fourth consecutive sub-25-minute 8K time.

OVC Women's Cross Country Co-Runner of the Week
Shelby Lamb, Morehead State
Freshman • Richmond, Ky.
Lamb finished 36th in a field of over 300 runners at the Southern Showcase (Invitational division). She crossed the line in the 5k with an OVC best time of 17:39.1. The freshman’s result is the fastest by an MSU female at that distance since the 2018 Ohio Valley Conference Championships.
 
Nova Ojutkangas, Southeast Missouri
Senior • Lannion, France
Ojutkangas placed first in a field of 24 at the OVC Conference Preview. Her 6k finishing time of 21:45.2 was twenty-three seconds ahead of second place, helping secure a SEMO victory for the women's team. The time is the top in the OVC at that distance this season. This is her second honor this year.
