Bogan tallied a pair of top 13 finishes during September, averaging an OVC-best 69.2 strokes per round over six total rounds. At the Joe Feaganes Marshall Invitational he had scores of 72-68-70 to tie for 13th (210, -3). The junior followed that by tying for third (with fellow honoree Preston Bily) in a field of 100, after scores of 68-68-69 (205, -8). That score marked the sixth-best tournament performance by a MSU golfer over the past 15 seasons. During that event, Bogan's driver broke before the final round, forcing him to use his five wood for entirety of the round.

Bily recorded a pair of top 10 finishes in September, averaging 70.0 strokes over six rounds (second-best in the OVC). The senior began the month at the Grover Page Classic, in a field of 68 that included four other OVC teams. There he fired rounds of 73-70-72 to finish at 215 (-1) which was tied for eighth. Two weeks later at the Dolenc Invitational, hosted by SIUE and including six other OVC squads, he tied for third (with fellow honoree Seamus Bogan) after carding scores of 70-67-68 (205, -8). That was one stroke off his career-best 54-hole total, while his second round score of 67 was the second-lowest of his collegiate career.

OVC Female Golfer of the Month

Wiley competed in three events during the month of September, averaging 74.9 strokes over nine rounds. After shooting 16-over at the tough Golfweek Fall Challenge, Wiley rebounded to finish eighth out of 91 at the Brittany Kelly Classic with rounds of 71-72-76 (219, +3). That performance helped her team to a third-place team finish. The senior capped the month by finishing 28th at the Fighting Irish Classic, carding rounds of 72-78-76 (226, +13).
