Robinson joined the OVC staff full-time in June 2014 as the Director of Digital Media after serving as an intern for the 2013-14 school year.

He was promoted to Assistant Commissioner for Digital Media in August 2023.

In his role Robinson is a liaison for OVC member institutions for matters pertaining to ESPN broadcasts as well as the OVC Assessment and Accountability Group. He produces and directs ESPN broadcasts for the OVC Championships in women’s soccer, indoor volleyball, indoor track & field, men’s and women’s basketball, beach volleyball, baseball and softball.  Additionally, Robinson develops ancillary content and video spots for the Conference.

He also helps oversee replay initiatives across all sports for the league.

In 2013-14 Robinson served as the league’s broadcasting and multimedia production intern. In that role he had oversight in producing, directing and filming six OVC Championships during the year, including baseball, men’s and women’s basketball, soccer, softball and volleyball. Each of those championships were broadcast on the OVC Digital Network while the volleyball and women’s basketball championships were also streamed on ESPN3. In addition, Robinson assisted in editing and developing multiple video series for OVC platforms including “OVC Road Trip” and “What Inspires You” in addition to producing highlights of championship events.

Robinson, a native of Berea, Kentucky, obtained his bachelor's degree in telecommunications from the University of Kentucky in 2010. He completed his master’s degree in sport administration from Belmont in May 2014.

At Belmont Robinson served as a graduate assistant where he worked directly with Belmont's Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations as the Video Services Director, producing and directing OVC Digital Network broadcasts for home sporting events as well as other ancillary content and video spots.
